SALAD WITH PINEAPPLE AND CHICKEN

    The most delicious salad! Will not leave anyone indifferent! It can be cooked as for usual family dinner and served at the festive table. It is made simply and very quickly.

 



  Ingredients for 2 servings:

- Chicken breasts - 150 gr.

- Hard cheese - 100 gr.

- Pineapples (3-4 rings) - 100 gr.

- Garlic (or 2 small ones) - 1 clove

- Mayonnaise - 2 table spoons.

- Dry spices (any spices will do, for chicken or ground black pepper) - 0.3 teaspoons.

Step by step cooking

   1. Prepare the products. Per serving for two we will need: a small chicken breast, three or four rings of canned pineapple, a piece of cheese about 100 grams, two cloves of garlic (one for those who do not like the pungent taste of garlic), mayonnaise, spices. If many guests are expected, double or even triple the number of ingredients.

   2. Marinate the chicken breast for a few minutes in any spices you like (I have Italian herbs and salt).

   3. Then fry the chicken breast in vegetable oil on both sides. Allow the breast to cool. You can just boil the chicken fillets in salted water, but fried chicken is much tastier. Cut the chicken breast into small cubes.

   4. Take out a few rings of pineapple from a jar and squeeze them slightly from the syrup, so that it does not give excess moisture and also cut into medium sized cubes.

   5. Take any hard cheese and grate it on a coarse grater.

   6. Now let's prepare the dressing for the salad. Mix mayonnaise with spices (I have Italian herbs, you can take the usual ground black pepper), squeeze the garlic and mix well. If you wish, you can replace the mayonnaise with sour cream or thick unsweetened yogurt.

   7. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and add the garlic dressing. Gently mix the salad. Taste and, if there is not enough salt, salt to taste.

   8. The festive version of the salad can be prepared in layers in a serving ring, so it will look more spectacular.
